In particular, the convention celebrated quality in business and operations. Award winners demonstrated commitment to the criteria of the QC100 TQM Model, which helps bolster customer satisfaction and cost efficiency across all areas of operation.

Among this year’s winners, Kwadwo Anderson Asiedu of Tumffour Limited, from Ghana, received the Century International Quality ERA Award in the Gold Category at the BID Quality Convention in Geneva. The organization has made huge strides this year as a leader not only within its sector, but also in Ghana. The Award came as an ideal way to celebrate this past year’s successes while looking forward to putting quality first in the year to come.

Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos S.A., from Argentina. Managing the water system of the city of Buenos Aires, it serves 10 million inhabitants in an area of 1,800 square kilometers with nearly 19,000 km of drinking-water pipeline.

Digital Jewels Ltd, from Nigeria is the first indigenous consulting firm in Africa to achieve accreditation to the ISO27001:2013  an Information Value Chain Consulting and Capacity Building Firm with a focus on the Information Value and bring to bear their knowledge of global best practice within the context of their experience of the local operating environment.

Universidad Autónoma del Sur (UNASUR), from Paraguay One of the most important universities in South America that has generated a university model that meets the needs of today’s world, based on the quality of teachers, providing modern and versatile education.

Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad, from Malaysia,  Established in 1997, this water, wastewater and environmental solutions provider and also an emerging significant player in the oil and gas sector had a market capitalization in 2013 of $364 billion and a manpower strength of 4,000 employees.

Estima Pharma solutions LLP is a total GxP consulting solutions provider and provides other Pharma services word like BABE and clinical monitoring, Outsourcing of BABE studies, Outsourcing of API and Contract manufacturing location outsourcing and Audit services

The companies honored in Geneva were recognized not only for their entrepreneurial achievements, but also for their dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, key concepts of the QC100 Total Quality Management Model.
